wait wait wait, diagnose ourselves???
dafuq did we pay all dem shrinks for then???
here i was thinking i was perfectly normal living in a world of of humongs and arsehats and 5% unicorns and 2% hippo toe population ( see that i did there 😉 )
and along comes some high and mighty shiny coated hooting tooting besserwissser, that suddenly deem my perception completely erroneous and I am in fact “depressed”, promptly offers me the club’s white welcome jacket, extra long sleeved version, before shuffling me off to the spa, all of course while making sure an ample stipend is met for his service troubles
had i know i could do that on my own that would have been one much cheaper jacket…
lol I haven’t paid any shrink….. yet. If only a cure for depression was this easy… just do away with the assholes in the world. Happy days are here again, oh happy days are here again….
For me all the ass holes I know now were my good friends and family not so long ago . My anxiety and depression plus all the pills put me on a level they couldn’t understand . To this day I would have rathered been wrapped in cotton wool and loved than just pushed away. My friends slowly turned into ass holes one by one .. I didn’t see it coming ………
As funny as that quote is, it’s also remarkably true, and reminded me of something I’ve learned in my spiritual journey.
We often mistake our “mental illness” for a personal defect, i.e. I’m worthless, I’m broken, etc. The truth is that we live in a largely unconscious (another word for insane) world that makes everyone suffer. We are ALL part of the human condition, and that manifests as what we call mental illness … some of us admit it, while most are terrified to do so.
The bottom line is … it is this world that makes us “mentally ill” … no depressed person asked to be that way … which is another way of saying that if you’re depressed, you probably have been surrounded by assholes.
One little addition … so, our depression is not something personal, although that’s what the world tells us (“YOU are ill”). The world needs to take responsibility for our depression, because that illness is really the product of this world.
naa, not if you just do it to take a peak as your duty to confirm or disprove the wallet holders A*hole status, you know sort of a different “sneaky” ,Stop and identify statute,
Oh, so you have to use tactics, eh? Well, at least more people are starting to display their A-hole rankings on their shirts. It makes things a lot easier.
indeed
whether or not that is a good thing, A*holes displaying and taking pride in themselves and their A*holery, i don’t know, but at least it is easier to identify some

Yeeee 😀
If I can’t even diagnose myself with depression, then how am I supposed to diagnose who’s an asshole?
you snatch their wallet and look for the A*hole membership card
Wouldn’t snatching someone’s wallet automatically guarantee me a full one-year membership to the Asshole Club?
