What do you guys do with your free time?
What’s a good way to motivate myself?
Do I really have to be extremely friendly to my university professors to save myself from college? Or is this optional?
Sometimes I need to stop after listening too much music but then silence is deafening too. What can I do about it?
How can I stop the urges?
How can I minimize the meltdowns?
How can I be a better person?
Should I get a cat? I’m thinking of getting a Ragdoll Siamese. They say they’re very cuddly. I just realized the effectiveness of house pets. They are pretty effective.

Thats a lot of questions.
Definitely get the cat though. Having a pet is very helpful.

And that’s not the half of it hahaha 😀
It does especially when they give you affection 😀
And its so easy to get affection from animals you just have to treat them well and they love you. Sadly it doesn’t usually work that way with humans. Probably why i like animals alot more than i like people lol.
Works that way with humans for me. The key is picking the right humans.
In my free time I get busy either by going out and having food or just writing down my thoughts whatever comes to mind.
@Forevertorn
That is a good way to kill time 😀
Go on walks/bike rides, hang out/talk with friends, doodle, game, read.
tell yourself you can do it. positive reinforcement, make a list of the things you have to do and after so many items or once it’s completed you get to do something you really like.
i think you can get by with just being polite and paying attention in class on top of the workload, you don’t have to be uber friendly.
as long as the music isn’t too loud it shouldn’t be too much of a problem… could try a gradual transition, turn it down a bit at a time if it’s the contrast between noise and not that bugs you.
…yeah. distractions and not giving in to it are what i’m working with. after so long they happen less. for me when i get really stressed or deal with certain things they come back stronger, but overall some stuff doesn’t pop up as much.
don’t let everything build up, talk when you can, ask for help. remember stuff isn’t the end of the world and you can breathe.
… do what you can, where and when you can. try to learn from situations and not repeat them. don’t beat yourself up for your flaws but try to accept them and remember your human just like everyone.
@freeroma
As always thank you for answering them all hahaha 😀
I should really start running since I’m always awake so early.
Thanks for the music and the volume thing. It does help 😀
Going on daily walks/jogging definitely helps ease the stress. I don’t have any suicidal thoughts when I do, for some reason. It also helps motivate me to start the day. It’s like I have more energy to tackle the day after having a cup of coffee followed by a brisk walk around the park or beach.
For the music, I find a volume level that I can tolerate having it on all day. You just have to try out different volume settings to find the one that works for you. I have music playing all day/night. If not, it’s my tv at a moderate level. Helps make my Tinnitus less annoying.
Cats or even dogs are great companions and definitely therapeutic. Good idea!
@Stray_Kat
Thank you very much for the answers.
I should really get down on the whole exercise and jogging thing.
So volume is all I have to change? Cool. Thank you very much.
They are! My friends have pets and whenever I’m visiting they’re very lovely.
Can you give a cat a good, safe, loving home? If so, by all means do it. They are their own little antidepressant drug. Wonderful pets. Two cats have me.
@Chip
Yes, I think I can give them that. Thank you for thinking about their well-being 🙂
