Achievement is one of those things like beauty. Entirely subjective, but the overwhelming voices of the masses tend to write the definition. Correction, it’s not even “the masses” so much as “the loudest”. So you could look like a supermodel to yourself and the world, but if your mom is yelling in your ear every day that you’re ugly, that’s what you’ll feel.
I know you’re not asking for advice, but here’s something that helps me. Go someplace where nobody knows you, then just blend into the scenery. It’s a nice break from the pressure of “being good enough”.

I’m of the opinion that War is peace, Freedom is slavery and Ignorance is Strength, that’s my opinion and it’s just as valid as yours because there is no such thing as an objective reality https://youtu.be/9E62iA6KCIQhttps://vimeo.com/87940404

“The system is dependent on failure.” Probably true. You can’t feel high and mighty without having someone to look down on. It’s all meaningless, though. The people sitting at the top of the hill are the ones who wanted it the most. Some of us think they’re strange for clambering up there in the first place.
Achievement is subjective. Achievement for me is making sure I do something productive with at least part of my day. Achievement for others can be something as serious as changing the world in a solid, positive way… Achievement for others can be just getting out of bed in the morning and facing the world. Achievement is still achievement.
I grew up in the 70s. Before everyone got paranoid about their looks, before everyone got fat, before everyone decided no one else mattered but themselves. The world has become a really fucking vile place.

Fuck the world because the world fucked me.
Just one of my favorite quotes. Felt it was suitable.
