I was actually having a good day, that is until I had to contact customer service. I went on chat, the 1st guy transferred me to another guy, that other guy transferred me to another guy, who then transferred me to another guy. And that guy transferred me to another guy. Yes, I got transferred a total of 5x. Guy #6 didn’t seem to understand what the problem was, even though it’s clearly stated in the chat history. Order # is clearly on chat. Makes me repeat everything even though it’s all in the chat log, and supposedly read the chat history because he made me wait a million years. Absolutely no help. So I cancelled chat. Issue still unresolved. I’m going to have to contact them. Again. And go through all this. Again. Jesus Effing Christ.
Like I was actually having a good day earlier too, which rarely happens.
&(($(*(#*#!!!! and $)#)(#(@*&@^$($)@ $*&(*#E(#)()#)@&*!!!.
I need something to relax me. In a way, I kinda envy those who drink alcohol and get all warm and fuzzy and relaxed (I don’t drink and alcohol doesn’t relax me).

customer service can be such a *****, hope your problem gets resolved soon,,
The chat history was probably only visible to you. Try calling, maybe?
Chat history is visible to them. They all said, “hold on, let me read the chat log.” Each made me wait forever, then after they read it, transferred me to someone else. I did call, and calling turned out even worse. Woman put me on hold, then hung up on me by accident, called me back, then put me on hold 3 more times. SIgh.
Like, they need to pay me for all the aggravation and stress. Credit my account for at least $100 for the pain and aggravation.
yeah, try calling? i had to to make a call today with customer service. i got transferred twice, and could barely hear the woman that resolved my issue. it was like she was whispering. i almost wanted to start whispering too, but she apparently hear me too, wtf?
at least your issue got resolved. i have to do it all over again another day.
Remember that customer service reps are people too. They have to deal with chaotic, fast-paced environments, and they are underpaid for the amount of stress it causes THEM.
I mean, yeah, I’ve yelled at the on-hold music before, saying “You’re so slow! This is very poor customer service!” but honestly, how much do you expect a call centre worker to love their job? I bet the only ones who go out of their way for you are the ones who have a more generous personality, which is totally unrelated to work. Be patient with them though and maybe they’ll be nice to you.
Also, if you do feel that they inconvenienced you, mention it and maybe you will get credited or a bonus discount or service. Works for me sometimes.
I was patient on chat. I typed very little. They got got on, read what the issue was, then said they need to transfer me to the right place. Repeat 5x.
i’ve never cussed out a customer service rep or any rep anywhere for that matter. i’ve worked at a call center before, and it made me more empathetic to the matter. i’m actually very patient and never lose my cool. it’s a tiring job. having to say that same script over and over, for “legal reasons”. i hated it. it wasn’t even the customers. i actually enjoyed talking to the customers. it was the lack of movement that bothered me the most. they should have wireless headsets so you can walk around while you’re taking a call, because, a lot of times, you’re not even doing much computer work. the restlessness really got to me, and staring at a screen for 8-10 hours a day. i quit on the spot, but i left on good terms, even though i can’t return. i wouldn’t anyway. the vibes at that place were terrible.
Sometimes when I get stressed out I go on You Tube and type in something like ” relaxing music” or ” meditation music”. I can actually feel relaxed after listening to the music. There is so much music to choose from–you should find one that perfectly fits you!!
Already doing it. I prefer energetic / dance music. Relaxing music only works when I’m already relaxed.
If I am relaxed then I don’t need the relaxing music. What ever type of music helps you –go for it!!
