Tomorrow I’m biking out to a place to volunteer.. there’s a few animals there.
my thereapist recommended it to me.. it’s not too far from my work, so if i do make it a regular thing it won’t be that far out of the way.
sometimes I wonder if i would like going back to having turns on days, but.. getting up early is hard sometimes. I’m glad it won’t be hard on you though.
I can relate to being worn out quick, too.
That sounds like a wonderful way to spend time. Let me know how it goes?
I used to have a very hard time getting out of the bed in the morning, now I wake up a bunch through the night and can’t really sleep in. Meh, it is what it is. Either way, it’s nice to get out early and have the rest of the day to try and just chillll— or if I’m feeling “hyped up”/anxious, I can get stuff done around the house.
aside from a rough spot towards the end, it was great. her place is kinda out of the way, and when you come up to it it’s surrounded by trees so from a distance it looks like a windbreaker, not like anyone lives there. and she has all types of animals, which is neat. mostly i spent today saying hi to dogs and cats.
when i sleep, unless there’s a big thing i’m worried about or a bad dream i’m usually out pretty quick.
i can usually only get things done on the weekends, and even then it’s usually bleghhh
A rough spot? What happened? I’m glad that overall it was a good experience. It sounds like an awesome place to spend time, I love being around animals.
I’ve been there, where it was like I could never get enough sleep; I struggled leaving my bed. Now it’s like, I’m constantly restless. Sometimes I get shit done because my anxiety puts me in this state of fixation where I can’t relax until certain tasks are done. Lately I am very very slow though, but at least I’m still moving 🙂
I got bit.. could’ve been a lot worse, but ugh. have antibiotics, been using ice and taking ibuprofen, but it’s sore, will be for a bit.
I do too. I got hugged by a cat ^_^ it was adorable.
I’ve had those moods too, but usually just because of those tasks. restless me goes around pacing, not much use.
🙂 all that matters.
Aww that sounds ridiculously adorable, ha. Are you able to have pets of your own where you live? Having a furry friend has always helped me get by.
I bet you could focus that excess energy on something other than pacing when it occurs, like being creative or doing something active. Do you think you would like gardening at all? Is there any little space you could do even a small herb garden (could even be inside)? It’s cool to see something grow from a tiny seed.
Nope, no pets allowed. Same here with critters.. Usually I can get that with my friend since she has several pets at her place, at her mom’s, her uncle’s.. most of them have an animal or two.
which is kinda why i went to volunteer.. I miss her critters, too.
i usually have to be in a certain mood to create, and anxious usually makes me feel destructive, too.. my brain is against me.
I dunno. that’d probably be cool to try, though.
Did it break the skin? I’m assuming it did if you got an antibiotic. Puncture wounds?
Bleh sucks you can’t have pets, but the whole volunteering thing is a great way to get your fix for now.
Hmm…Destruction and creation are so closely linked, just a thought. Yeah, and you can use the herbs in cooking (dry them out or use them fresh) or even make tinctures. Plus it’s just interesting to watch plants grow as you tend to them.

I didn’t mean to upset you, either.

I just worry…
you’re not the only one.. sokay.
at least im doing something this weekend that involves leaving the house.. probably good for me.
do you have to work this weekend?
What are you doing this weekend? I agree that getting out of the house (and out of your head) would be a good idea.
Yes I am working, but early so the shifts will be a breeze. It’s good for me right now, I’ve been getting worn out fairly easy these days.

Bit? By a dog or a cat?
