Is it wrong to want to die in a way that provokes outrage or other emotions in your family or friends? Often times thats all i want. Because i will never cut, but i want attention. I have no idea how to get it.
Good article just look at how easy it seems to obtain. Should Euthanisa not be this simple and universally available for anyone who wants to end their life?
And yet it remains illegal and inaccessible in many advanced nations. In some cases, people have been fighting for years in some countries to have it legalized but they’re refused.
Fortunately, it’s legal in Canada for the terminally ill, elderly and some others. But still, it is too narrowly available. Some groups are working on making it more widely available.
This is like one group of people deciding you’re not allowed to play guitar because they oppose guitars. It doesn’t affect them, it is none of their business and you are “harming” no one but yourself and yet somehow they managed to make their stupid belief the dominant idea codified in law.
If there were ever a social issue to get fired up about (even more than abortion) this would be it, because it is about the greatest decision you will ever make, when to end your existence and how it will be done.
These naysayers have taken that choice away from individuals for their own peace of mind. To them ending your wretching suffering/existence is worse than enduring that pain/suffering, that’s how ludicrous their thinking is.
I realize we’ll probably never get a grassroots mvmt going to make euthanasia fully legal (for anyone who wants it) but that should be a cause to strive for above all others.

I was considering this… if I could get on a plane I’d be there…
