I agree with you. People are playing roles. Predertermined or if you prefer deyermined by media. Almost no one is authentic and genuine anymore…just robots copying sth they saw or listened before.
It’s one of those things like “90% of drivers think they’re better than the average driver” (real statistic). Nobody thinks they’re living a predetermined role, and yet look at all the people who end up being exactly what their upbringing, DNA and social programming dictate? Well, I’ll be the first one to admit that I’m living a predetermined role. It’s unusual and I’ve never met anyone like me, but the fact remains that I am extremely predictable to anyone who knows my programming. I call that pretty predetermined.
