Turn english captions on if not already. I <3 this. Ignore weird catgirl. Or don’t. I don’t care. I want to play this at work sometime so people can give me weird looks and think, “Why, that there ain’t ‘Murican. Why’s she not singin’ ’bout beer an’ guns an’ such?” I did that with some Tunisian metal a while back and everyone acted like I was a terrorist for about a week. It was awesome. But if I have to listen to one more country song, I might go crazy. There’s a tear in mah beeeeer.

But why need english captions even? O.o
To understand the lyrics instead of it just being pretty noise?
Because english isn’t the only language that exists, of course.
I was more able to appreciate it without, as with most music with lyrics in other languages. It becomes more like reading then. :/
I might be strange though.
I just like knowing that the singer isn’t doing a rendition of Mary Had A Little Lamb or Amazing Grace or something. This gal definitely wasn’t singing gospel tunes.
I like this, tho I’m still trying to understand her tail.
And hey now, not all them thar countray songs talkn bout the beer and such. There’s some gems. I might be a little biased since I grew up on it but there’s a handful of songs I still listen to.
We occasionally get radio day at work (because music is a gift from our overlords, praise ye manufactor) and my old line got it Finally, for the first time. And there was a guy from materials who brought in a speaker that had decent oomph, let people hook up their phones to play stuff, with the request no one play one particular singer. Fair enough, right?
Nope. One idiot thought he was funny and played that person, after which the owner of the speaker unhooked it, set it aside, and no more radio day for dem. Can’t have nice things cuz punks wanna be jerks.
Ha. I’m lucky I work at a place that lets you wear headphones, bring in speakers, play the radio as loud as you want… I mean, I basically work inside a giant ordinance blasting chamber, just in case something goes boom while we’re standing around talking about beer ‘n god ‘n guns and such. I usually just hang out inside my washing machine.
I don’t have a problem with most proper country music – not the pop variety. It’s the stuff they play on the radio. I can’t stand our radio stations here. Everybody in the entire plant listens to this one single station, and you can hear it from one side of the building to the other, with the exception of one guy who blasts NPR for some reason. But I swear, this station is designed to drive everyone bananas. They’ll repeat the same song two or three times in a row sometimes, then play a different song, go back to the first song again, then a third song two times in a row… It’s maddening. lol
Relatable. I liked the song enough to go ahead and download it. Thanks for sharing.
