Don’t check the news first thing in the morning while getting ready for work. You’ll end up irritated and late to leave. I can go in at 5 or 6:30. Looks like a 6:30 day again.
The me from ten years ago thought the news was bad back then, and that the world couldn’t possibly get any more insane and outlandish. I regret thinking that. The me from ten years ago was an idiot.

Do I even want to know what happened now? :/
Take your pick. There’s a whole buffet of insane stupidity these days. There’s something for every taste.
I haven’t looked at the news in awhile…. It always hurts me so I avoid it.
yeah most of the time it’s always bad news, the world is insane. it’s also propaganda geared around making you say to yourself gee i don’t have it so bad look at all these poor people! very rarely do they report cat saved from tree, that might be because cats don’t watch TV however?
The news is…..interesting to say the least. Back in January someone….I don’t remember who they were but they said for a month only print happy stories. Delivering the paper I read the headlines every morning. And no one listened. Personally though it’s good to know the truth but it would be nice if they offset it so it wouldn’t seem like everything was bad. Just the other day there was a headline about someone raising money for women’s mental health. First complaint. Guys have mental problems too. I know some. Second if you really want to help we don’t want your fucking money. We want a God damn truthful friend that actually likes us for who we are. (At least I do)
Funny thing about the news. It is truth in all its ugliness. So yes I also check the latest headlines every morning and get suicidally depressed, inching me ever closer to that permanent solution. What is the alternative? To ignore the horror and eke out a blissfully ignorant existence as if there are no problems in life? I’m sure that works for 99% of the population, but I’d rather face facts because it’ll eventually catch up with everyone.
