Hey guys. I´ve got way too much time on my hands. I mean technically I should be busy but I am procrastinating anyway so I thought I could at least watch something interesting instead of just meaninglessly playing video games 24/7.
If you can still find it or haven’t seen them:
Welcome to the NHK
Genshiken
Natsume’s Book of Friends
Shirobako
…I could go on but those are among my favorites without giant robots or the other world themes.
sigh this is my last post on sp.. i cant relate to anyone here anymore, that said i have a bit of experience with manga so here are my recommendations:
mirai nikki – twelve people are chosen for a survival game in which every one has a personalized diary which tells them predictions of the future. utilizing their advantages they strategize to pick everyone else off and be the last person alive. the prize is to become god of the space time continuum and rule over the universe’s existence.
platinum end – thirteen people who have contemplated suicide or given wings and arrows by a personal angel. the wings give them the ability to fly and the arrows allow someone to be in love with them for thirty days. by taking advantage of people’s adoration for them, they can live a blessed life or use it the gain ground in eliminating the rest of the chosen contestants. much like mirai nikki the winner becomes god of the universe, however everyone has their own individual motives and insecurities. its defiantly very thought provoking compared, and challenges the dignity of killing another being and whether god exists.
death note – the antagonist is the main character of the story.
on second thought, some of these are quite mainstream. i just happened to like a lot of series that i was first introduced too. solution: the art club has a problem ! i think this anime is kind of niche and its in the slice of life genre. in its short stint of twelve episodes there’s a lot of plot lines that go nowhere, but its still entertaining nonetheless.
Magical Girl Site is maybe worth stabbing, it’s both horrid and great, and cringy and it seems to be one where people have a strong opinion on it…. Anything else I’d suggest has been suggested by another already. Right now I’m watching shield hero just due to being sat down by a person and kind of forced to start it, and well have to finish it now…. It’s okay.

Samurai champloo and banana fish were pretty good
Banana fish? Is that anything like a banana boat? Lol
Lmao no, it’s about gangs in New York; it does have a weird ass name tho
Possibly a yellow submarine?
