me fucking too. I don’t want sex. that’s exactly how I feel. no guy is interested in me unless he wants to fuck. ugh how annoying.
It also doesn’t help that I go to a High school with a bunch of sex crazy guys.
I’m doubly fucked because I don’t want sex and I don’t want love either. I just want mutual respect without any expectations. Pretty low bar, but everyone always demands more.
I mean the logical answer is because it’s built within our DNA to reproduce and populate the world. There are some people that don’t find anything sexual, asexuals, but for others it’s just an evolution thing that’s built within us. Without it, we would have died out way back then. Humans would have ceased to exist.
you may be onto something with that reproduction angle. I hate the idea of spreading my damaged DNA and bringing any offspring into this lousy world, and im pretty sure that spills into my attitude toward sex.
Maybe other depressed people are the same. And that’s the real reason why libido is typically low with depression. It’s nature’s safety valve telling us we shouldn’t reproduce.
