Point of the article- money is ESSENTIAL to a good, happy life, free from stress, free from worry. Or LESS worry and LESS stress. And more FREEDOM to do things. And no, there is no “cap” on money’s positive influence on happiness and life satisfaction- ppl who already make a lot of money and make more become even happier.

the one that gets me is “we can’t afford it” or “it isn’t in the budget” and my reaction is; oh but new cell phones yearly there’s money for? New sports cars? new luxury condos, but none for anyone else? new video game systems? yachts for the super rich? That one really gets me, I saw where one billionaire had a yacht so big it had a bay for a smaller yacht
so we can afford Yacht-ception (or Yacht – terducken either way), but we can’t afford for everyone to EAT?! or have shelter?!
yeah, this world doesn’t make any sense at all to me.
oh it definite makes sense- once you realize that poor ppl’s lives don’t matter to the rich- that’s what everyone needs to realize. if our lives mattered to them in the least bit, would be still have no clean water to drink in Flint, MI? Or East Palestine, OH? If poor people’s lives mattered, would we still NOT have universal health insurance? or living wages?
anyway, that’s digressing from the article about happiness but yeah, rich ppl dictate our lives and our lives mean literally nothing to these ppl who drug us and keep us sick.
