When you don’t sleep, night after night after night. and even when you do, it’s only a few hours every night, and you NEVER make up the sleep deficit. Imagine you pulling an all-nighter, except it’s an all-nighter EVERY night and you’re not allowed to pass out and sleep 10 hours and wake up all good and new.
Imagine that even when you do sleep “6” hours, that it’s not deep sleep. I do not get deep restful sleep, so when i wake up, i’m still fucking tired. it’s literally like being a fucking zombie, and NO sleep drugs don’t do shit. Hell, sleep drugs make things WORSE. they make you feel like shit AND it doesn’t give you deep sleep. You know, the REM sleep. That is what i am lacking. if you don’t have REM sleep, even if you’re unconscious, you’re not having actual sleep. it’s the deep REM sleep that humans need.
anyway, i’m tired and brain isn’t functioning. so FML.
