I cut myself today it was kinda was a way to numb the pain and help me forget about everything on my mind all the sadness I was feeling but now I’m just left with the cuts and I’m trying to hide them so no one notices I just want too stop feeling so sad all the time what is wrong with me!!!

I cut too. I always put neosporin on my cuts right after. If you keep them covered and you moisturize scabs with lotion, they don’t scar too much. After the scabs fall off, I use mederma SPF cream and Bio Oil and scars go away pretty quickly. Good luck.
Nothing is wrong with you. People deal with stress differently. You need to find something that can parallel the relief you get from cutting. Cutting releases endorphins in the brain bringing a calming opiate like feeling to the body. I know this because I love pain during sex, I was also a former drug addict. Because of my experiences I have found ways to get past the pain without hurting myself. The most efficient way of getting through the tough thoughts and clearing your mind is running. Running does two key things for myself. First off, it allows me to focus on movement, and as you focus on movement it clears your mind entirely. Secondly, it creates endorphins in the brain similar to cutting, which is commonly referred to as a runners high. Runners high is amazingly cathartic and, instead of leaving you with scarring and self conscious worry, you are left with elation and a relaxing feeling.
It will only benefit you to try.
I know the feeling.. I finally broke after 4 months; but trust me just keep looking forward to something & you will forget about it, if you get depressed during night wanting to cut Read a book; or do something you enjoy! It will take your mind off of it. I have a problem of being left alone? Weird. Nahh not really haha.. But yeah.. Do something you enjoy.

I felt the same way the first time I cut. True, it does release endorphins, but it’s just a quick fix, like drugs or alcohol. It won’t make you truely happy. To release stress, running is great. I prefer pilates or kickboxing though. See what works for you. Also, I can tell how much your hurting inside. Don’t let this bring you down.
