‘to live is the rarest thing in the world, most of us just exist’ – the fabulous oscar wilde
litterally on the edge right now. cant stand anymore. i need a way out. i dont want to just exist anymore…
I feel the same but I don’t think there is a way out outside of suddenly winning the lottery or something like that which just isn’t going to happen you’d have better chances of being struck by lightening or being hit by a meteorite.
Its true that to just exist is no real life. TO really LIVE. You have to put effort into your life.
You have to find things that you are passionate about and persue them. You have to take risks.
Go on adventures. Try something that nobody else has tried. FInd a purpose for your life.
and that might include helping other people or advocting for positive change in the world.
There can hardly be another quote more true than this one. It hurts more when one sees only such barely existing people around. People are more smarter, they don’t even give a care for such a thought. And the ones like you, me and a few other such people who really care for such a life, life makes it sure that we don’t get any! Some exceptional people still somehow manage to have their way with their mental doggedness and never say die attitude, kudos to them really. I can only try that much against the odds, don’t know about you and others.
That’s something I often say. But it’s actual value is suspect.
I’ve lived. I’ve been on the roller coaster of life for a very long time. Done many things, seen many things few get to see, experienced many things few get to experience. Explored the world, the bright and the dark.
Living can be rewarding, but it has a high price.
And now, at the end, does it matter whether I lived or just existed? Not really. When I’m dead, nothing that happened in my life matters. Life is irrelevant.

I love that quote. and it’s extremely true. I feel you.
go do something you’ve always wanted to do.
I hear you. I’ve been considering hooking up with the local Mafia and becoming a drug dealer, in order to bring a little spice into my life.
