You wouldn’t find yourself in that exact situation in some countries, but people still leave others for reasons they have little control over. You said nothing works, but she made you happy – in the long run that could be something positive, because it means you could feel happy again in the future. You must have been feeling a lot worse since she left, so hopefully there’s a good chance you’ll feel better given time. You said she was never there, so maybe it wouldn’t have been such a happy relationship long-term. Feeling like you can’t die because she’ll blame herself must be very hard. It’s very considerate of you. A lot of days I’m at the stage where I’m just trying to live through the next few hours. Sometimes that’s all you can do – don’t think about the future or the things you can and can’t do. Just try to get through the next hour or day.
