Dale swerved his car drunkenly up his long sloped driveway, barely stopping before the big oak tree at the top. He stumbles out of his car, barely able to find his own legs. His family dog, Conroy, lays coward while tethered to the porch. Conroy’s tail tucks underneath him as he whimpers, sensing the state of of Dales condition.
“Shut up mutt” Dale slurs, approaching the dog in an aggressive, albeit staggering motion.
Suddenly flashes and streaks stream around in a whirlwind. Somehow louder than a sonic boom but quieter than a whisper. Conroy’s gone. Dale mumbles, rubbing his eyes. Still no Conroy.
Thinking he’s being played for a fool, Dale storms into the house.
“Everyone down here now.” Dales voice booms. Instantly footsteps are heard. His wife and two children stand terrified. Not knowing what antics to expect from Dale. He glares at them. Before he can speak, the flashing is back, with that signature sound. That noise. Dale spins looking, trying to catch a glimpse of what came in, where his family is hiding on him.
A shadowy figure appears in his recliner. Smells of melting plastic and fiber fill the air, burning Dales nose.
“You enjoy tormenting those perceived weaker than you?” The shadow asks
“Who the hell are you? Where the hell is my family?” Demands Dale
“My name is Flynt, and your family is safe” the shadow responds.
Objects and furniture in the room start glowing with embers.
Meanwhile. Dolores finds herself with her children at a motel check in counter. Confused and distressed as the attendant asks again if she’d like a room. She starts to feel a rush of panic, when suddenly she is overwhelming with peace. A calmness as she reaches into her pocket. An over stuffed envelope, all hundreds, with a note…
“If you need more, just call for Super Wallet Man, signed The SSS.” She whispers, reading to herself. Looking to the attendant ” I’ll take a suite please, 1 adult 2 children”

Hahaha nice, and I specially like Conroy… And the mystery of the SSS signature 🙂
let’s hope once they begin to be recognized, the second s won’t become the reason society turns against them… interesting….
To be honest, I got no clue where this is heading.
