Apparently I’m dumb.

Some people don’t know how to talk to people, your parents are a prime example sorry. They want to judge and criticize your grades yet they probably don’t sit down 5 minutes to help you with your assignments. Just mhm and yes yes yes ok them to shut them up but don’t believe for one second that what they said is true about you. Don’t resent them either for it, just ignore it. You never want to think bad of your parents because at the end of the day they will be there for you when you need them. Parents aren’t always right and don’t always say the right things. It was inexcusable what they said but still doesn’t give you an excuse not to listen to their advice and strive for that perfect 100. If you capable of getting a 90 you can get 100 which is what they wanted to explain to you. Its hard to hear some things from your parents and it really does hurt when they say things like this but it happens, brush it off best you can’t and remind yourself that you love them. If it really gets under your skin you have to tell them before you become angry at them. I’m trying to give you a lesson on maturity, be the bigger person every opportunity you get. As hard as it is, its more important than that perfect 100.
