The name of the game concerning suicide is Lethality. When one can’t take one more second of their life the logical thing to do is employ a suicide method of the highest lethality. For my worn out, panic stricken brain suicide by train is less scary then continue to live with a mind full of scorpions, my mind goes in 10 diff directions at once all day every day this is totally unacceptable for a man to call this his life. I’m starting to feel calm now because I’m gravitateying towards jumping under a train. I’m

you okay?
i understand your pain but what about the train conductor. he would feel awful even though there was nothing he could do.
I’m thinking of jumping in front of the train as well, the only thing stopping me is the conductor and people.
I think if you’re still capable of logical thought, you’re capable of finding ways to go that don’t involve other people. I get that you feel desperate, but take into consideration the effect on the driver. No need to risk ruining the life of an innocent person. You can hold on long enough to find a means that is more reliable and less damaging to others, if you’re sure it’s what you need to do.
Imagine the passengers looking at your mangled body as you lay there in pieces, some poor soul wont sleep tonight.
The conductor had enough shit, lets not get him involved.
I don’t understand why everyone singles out train suicide as being the most unacceptable due to its impact on the conductor. Sure, but assuming you guys prefer a different way of suicide (this is after all a suicide site), how is traumatizing a train conductor any worse than traumatizing the paramedics, the first responders and the random bystanders who find your dead, rotting corpse? Whether it’s by train, by gunshot, rope, gas, drowning, or whatever, you’re going to look damn disgusting to whoever finds you. Blood pools, bodies contort, faces grimace and rotting flesh stinks to high hell in every death. So I don’t get why everyone condemns train suicide exclusively. At least it gets the job done and you don’t cause panic and life saving efforts to everyone around you. Trust me, trying desperately to revive a hanging victim, and failing, seeing their life slip away right in front of you while all your efforts go for naught, is pretty damn traumatizing.
the ones that witness your death or worse (like in the case of a train conductor) basically kills you because thats how they would feel are going to feel horrible and its only going to put them where you are. where as the paramedics save people everyday who look worse off. desensitizing them to it to a degree. there is a very big difference.
I disagree strongly that paramedics “save people everyday who look worse off”. If I wasn’t obvious enough in my comment, I’m a paramedic.
