Good or bad?
For me, this site has taught me that hearing other peoples stories doesn’t necessarily bring me comfort, it makes me a better person. I have met really good people on this site. I care about making people feel better about themselves, by making their own journey, ours to share and overcome.

I just like to read other people’s points of view.. it reminds me I am not alone, although every one is different – many of the people are less suicidal then myself, but being suicidal it’s not something that you can freely and openly discuss in the normal world without frankly being attacked, verbally and physically who knows, mentally, spiritually as well. I don’t have any friends in my real life. The only friends I ever loved have long past and maybe that’s why I want to go too. If they are gone, my life serves little purpose. Sure I could go through the motions and live unto old age like others do but I see little point in a bland, colorless world. So I am frequently attacked for holding that view point. I enjoy other people’s stories because people here don’t sugarcoat everything and it’s not always peaches and cream, they show substance that the world around you may lack.
Hell some people are religious so they don’t want you to commit suicide because it is against their believes, you know, to think they want you to have the same belief as them.
I’m glad you’ve been offered a space where you don’t feel attacked for holding a certain view point. Everyone’s stories here are raw and anything but pretentious which offers us a safe space.
It doesn’t matter if you are religious or not, just do whatever will make you a better or happier person.
