18-Year-Old Delivery Driver Shot at for Parking in Wrong Driveway
I believe Americans should have the right to have firearms (mainly bc I should be allowed to have one should I want to S– myself) BUT dozens and dozens of stories like this is why I don’t think *most* Americans should ever own a firearm or be allowed to touch one. Americans are crazy, home of Karens and Kens, and dumb af.
It’s like George Carlin says “Think how stupid the average person is. Now think that HALF the population is even dumber than that!”
This isn’t even a horror story- poor boy escaped alive and unharmed, unlike most ppl when idiots own guns and shoot. His car has several bullet holes so he could have easily been injured or killed by any of those bullets.
And no, for the US, this isn’t a rare or unique occurrence. Idiots DO shoot at strangers for accidentally parking in their driveway or using their driveway to make a u-turn bc they got lost. I’ve read more than a few stories about gun owners who shot at a stranger who got lost and had to make a quick u-turn, and these idiots/assholes shoot them for literally just that.

I guess it depends on the neighborhood, depends on context. There probably are neighborhoods that dangerous…. but I haven’t found one yet… then again I’m a 6′ 3 220 pound white male…. then again the guy in the video is a white guy. I’m overthinking it.
Imagine being killed for delivering a pizza. Then again… if you’re delivering pizza maybe being killed is more of a favor than people might realize. I’m in a weird headspace right now.
but people are dumb, there’s no reason to shoot at someone for pulling into your driveway unless they follow you into it. Really I don’t see why someone would want to shoot another person. I watch a lot of true crime docs, most of the time the person that you kill isn’t worth losing your freedom, TBH. Prison sucks, police stations suck, interrogations suck, the trial process sucks…..
and for what? To feel slightly more in control? Buy a frontloading tractor, clear a lot of dirt, great feeling of control, nobody gets hurt. Geez, rhyming again.

you’re a 6’3″ big white dude. 99% of ppl won’t mess with you. but you see the guy in the video right? yeah he’s white but more importantly, he’s a small skinny white guy. so yeah, ppl like him, and ppl like me (tiny ethnic female) get messed with all the time. they wouldn’t shoot at you, throw a punch at you, or go all Karen on you (generally) for fear of you beating the crap out of them. but for us smaller ppl- we get harassed daily in many places. this is America. -_-
