It’s only natural that the more a human has to handle large masses of anything, they cease to see the individual and rather the collective. It’s how vision works, zoom out and you don’t see the atoms anymore just the mass. This makes them forget that people are people. They either are psychopaths to take on such a terrible task or they become psychopaths along the way. The sheer lack of sympathy that is displayed by authouritarians is sadistic and psychopathic to say the least. That’s why the world will never get better, and people will always die.

Yep. It’s all about control. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. The type of people that gravitate to government like to control other people. Contrary to what we’re told to think, that’s why you get the worst people—not the best—who want to get into government. Were people all sheeps, this planet would be a lot happier place to live in. Unfortunately, not all people are born with a conscience. Carl Jung did a study (The Undiscovered Self) and found out that this subset of our species as “latent” sociopaths and psychopaths. Together they make up around 10% of any given culture or society.
Problem is, people can’t identify these sociopaths/psychopaths and more often than not, bcuz these sociopaths/psychos are such brilliant deceivers and manipulators, the unsuspecting sheeps worship them. As Thomas Sowell succinctly put it….”The fact that so many successful politicians are such shameless liars is not only a reflection on them, it is also a reflection on us. When the people want the impossible, only liars can satisfy.”
