What adjectives describe you/your life?
All I’ve ever wanted in life was to be happy, to be loved, and to be accepted by society.
At this point, I think society is dumb, so I guess I don’t “need” to be accepted by society. But damnit, I NEED to be happy and to be loved. At least by 1 or 2 people. Humans without love is like a plant without water. Eventually we’ll shrivel and die. But it’ll be a slow painful death.

Why do I have to be so damn depressed? No, depression is not a choice. If it were, 99% of us wouldn’t be here on this site, save for sadists. I wish I could just “snap out of it.” Sigh.

Well, since the 99% only have the illusion of liberty and not true liberty, please give me the sweet release of a quick and painless death. Not that I want to die; I just don’t want to live this life, as a slave. What a world- the choice of our own life and death is taken away from us. We do not have this thing called “freedom.”
Do you have a shopping excess? Not necessarily an addiction, but going overboard sometimes. Snorly posted about the itch to buy hundreds of games, many he’ll never play. Sadlife has posted about the hundreds of anime figurines he has (I’m amazed at how you guys can keep track of how many figurines and games you have).

To be human is … [fill in the blank]
Every since I was little, I’ve never wanted to be me. To be me is to always be depressed, always sad, always morose.
Life has made me into a dark ball of anger and hate, and jaded beyond the moons. I do not hate all of me, but I’m tired of most of me- the me that is non-functional, the me that keeps me in the doldrums, the me that keeps myself prisoner in my own mind.
Sigh. I’d rather trade me to be a “happy healthy idiot.”
Do you believe in the saying that “nice guys finish last”? Obviously not *all* evil people get ahead and not *all* nice people don’t make it, but it seems like nice people don’t tend to be as successful as bad people.
I’m so tired of seeing the few good people either get nowhere in life, or get taken advantaged of and preyed upon, and all the shitty evil people get ahead in life.
Again, not *all* but I definitely see a trend. Nice, good people get trampled on and the shitty people do the trampling- and get rewarded for it.

Sugar is like the abusive boyfriend- you know you should stay away, but you can’t resist. It makes you feel good, but hurts you. It’s sweet and sexy on the outside, but beats you up on the inside.
But seriously, does anyone have a sugar addiction? I’ve cut down on sugar years ago, but it’s sooooo hard. I always crave it. It’s really the only thing that makes me feel good. I don’t drink, smoke, or any of that stuff. The only thing that gives me a “high” or makes me feel “alive” is sugar.
I am failing at this thing called life.
When you watch anime or superhero movies, or anything scifi, the characters all have like super cool powers or abilities.
Then, when you go back to the real world, it feels so lame to be human. No special abilities, no making shadow clones, have lightening come out of your hands, no fireball coming out of your mouth, no teleportation.
Yeah yeah, we have airplanes and I suppose things like a blowtorch would substitute for being able to make fireballs and such but eh. Doesn’t it feel boring to be just a plain ol’ human? Or is it just me?
It could be a superhero (or supervillain) kind of power, or even something impossible like the ability to grant “world peace” (I say impossible because as long as humans have been on Earth, there has never been world peace).
So, what would your 1 power, or wish be? (other than death).
Do you feel damaged and broken? Do you think you’ll be this way forever?
