Life was hard growing up. When I was a child I was surrounded by drugs, nasty men, abuse, rape etc.
My mom was not like the moms you see on TV, she had supported my brother and I by stripping, she also sold and was addicted to drugs. She was clinically diagnosed as being bipolar, and schizophrenic.. She always put drugs above me and my brother. most of the time my Nana would take care of me but only when she wasn’t working. The first time that i self-harmed i was 13 and i used a safety pin since it was the only sharp object i had at the time,actually i still use a safety pin,idk something about it is just so much more convenient for me.Now i was wondering about other people’s self-harm stories,like When did you start and why,kind of stuff? I know that somebody posted about this yesterday but I wanted to put my 2 pence in. So a little context about me, I’m gay and I live in England. Only so much I can take… I thought I was getting better but my sister had a blow up the other day… She told me I’ll regret it when she kills herself. She’s 12. For awhile now I’ve been “Ready to die” so to speak… I haven’t been able to think of a full proof way to end it yet but my mind is constantly thinking of new options, none of which will actually work. I have 2 in mind, but they are both extremely difficult to achieve, and 1 of them doesn’t have a very high probability of success.

I don’t even know if you could call me suicidal. I’ve never actually attempted it, but I have thoughts about killing myself so often. I have a psychiatrist and a psychologist. Both of them know why I attempted
suicide last year. The thing that I hate is I still feel suicidal. It doesn’t go
