Once there was a man whose
Dreams were realised while he slept
Resplendent faÃ§ade—
Problems ameliorated as he dreamt

The man would fall asleep
Before the sun went fully down
And woke after it
Had rose and obscured reality known

One night he woke with a start and
Stared into black abyss
Disoriented—
Truth existed there in dark recess

Never did the man dream
Of money nor success again
Now he stays awake
The dreams forgot, the truth retain

Vodka shots and suicidal thoughts

i’m new here, and found this website due to heavily thinking about suicide. i used to be depressed, and it was like an endless, black abyss; now i am not even depressed, i’m at the point where i am numbed out. nothing makes me sad, but nothing makes me happy :/ just a little background on myself. but i found this piece in an article very interesting, it’s a read, but worth it; psychiatrists put emphasis on 3 main factors of suicide.

I, am a suicide survivor. I know not everyone will believe my story, like I know, but I do ask you to listen to me. I was there.

On a late winter night (seven years ago) I found myself homeless. After SEVERAL suicide “attempts’ (not too too serious ones) I made up my mind, that this was it.Â I was Agnostic/Atheist.
