I was going to post a short story and pose the question whether or not my life has been worthwhile and ask myself if I would be better off never being born or committing suicide as a teenager. (I am a lot older now). It got rather long.

This is my first entry on this site; so, instead of giving an elongated sob story about how much my life sucks and appears to be in the sh*tter, I figured I’d give it a different spin to, hopefully inspire those who feel they’ve hit rock bottom. Reading some of the posts here just break my heart.Â There are so many people that have been, or – in some cases, currently subject to the most hideous abuses by those that are supposed to care for them.Â Those with drug addicted or alcoholic parents, those that are being physically and sexually abused by members of their own family, or even worse.Â Â It makes the trials and tribulations of my formative years, whilst far from idyllic, seem like paradise in comparison.
