If you cut you get tagged as an emo. If you burn you get tagged as a hero. We want to die but do not want to harm others. We are sad, angry at our own lives for we feel useless and empty. Even so, learn what I have learnt: Life is what YOU make of it, not what others expect you to make of it. You lack motivation? Then take a break and look for it. You failed a semester or two? That’s fine, retake them. You yourself cause yourself NO stress, it is those around us who pressure us into thinking that what we have or haven’t done is the end of the world. I hate my fucking life, but I like a small slice of it, therefore I will live, in poverty or in wealth, in sickness or in health. Just for that slice, that tiny, puny , slice.

thank you
Thank you so much.
I hope you’re still alive.
That ‘tiny, puny slice’ pales in comparison to the hurt that exists, even if it exists only metaphorically as it is ‘created by others’.
Life isn’t worth living when we are all just waiting to die anyway. Why suffer the pain for that tiny slice when it might not ever materialise anyway? You could die tomorrow and have never felt the happiness that so many people seek; so why wait for that long?
Life is a struggle; pain affects people in different ways. No amount of happiness compensates for the people on this website who are hurting every day. And of course it is selfish to kill yourself, but it is the same choice as suggested above. If you truly want to find what it is that makes you live, you first need to consider what it is to die. Some people do not choose to come back from that. I wouldn’t want to persuade anybody too, lest it place more of the pressure and hurt on them that you describe.
I can die tomorrow, I wouldn’t feel bad about it, why? Because life , like it or not , has an end, and those who haven’t stopped to think about the conclusion live their life to “the fullest”.
I have thoight of the end, the truth is that any religion tries to “dull the sharp edge” off of the fact. Death means you no longer have a conscience and a conscience is the reason we have a ‘life’. Heaven, Hell, The circle of Karma and life, all the religious definitions of death, they are just something a dying man can look forward to, as to not die in fear.
Death itself, scientifically, is just your brain exceeding the amount of trauma it can handle. A baseball bat to the head is a prime example, blunt force trauma, it causes pressure and a shockwave which in turn traumatise your brain until it just gives up.
Life is just you growing up an dying, you may ask “why not just skip the chapters and get tothe conclusion, death?” Ask yourself this: Who wants to read a book that has only an introduction and a conclusion?
Anna, I believe that nobody here wants to live in pain and if they do, well then it’s their choice. Those who frequent this site don’t do it to tell others they will kill themselves, they don’t post wills or suicide notes. No. They come here for help and relativity.
You see, people come here to belong, to relate with others who live through their pain. For some, this means they want attention, and that is true, we want somebody to notice us and our pain, to see us for who we are and to accept us.
Suicide is extremely hard to go through with if your brain sees no valid reason, there is never a valid reason.
We go through life only to make it safely to death, and that’s the truth.
If I was determined to die, I would have never come accross this site as I would already be 6 feet under.
Xatu.
