…and my own mother didn’t even wish me happy birthday, let alone get me a card or present.
nice eh?
urgh, a day of pretending even more so to be happy and lying to everyone, only good thing about it was getting some funds to set the wheels in motion.

Happy birthday
yes, ahppy birthday. is this the same every year then?
you feel how i do, just want to run. get in the car and go. it’s where to go thats the problem though right.
i like the lyric “it’s hard to sleep when you’re born to run”
Happy belated Birthday! I saw your post and I understood how you felt. My dad forgot my 17th birthday until my mum called him to remind him. He forgot my 18th birthday. He called on the wrong day for my 19 (I guess my mum told him to early)
Don’t feel disappointed by them not remembering, if they can’t remember then they aren’t worth any of your feelings.
Well happy birthday! It was mine a few days ago and my mom didn’t wish me a happy birthday either. Instead, she yelled at me. But that’s just normal for her.. she just likes to ruin every potentially joyful event the rest of the family has.
Well you’re eghteen, so she isn’t legally in charge of you anymore. You can do whatever you want, you can even move out.
