It isn’t. Now that you are here, if you are able leave them and their thoughts behind. Move forward in a future shaped by you. Get counseling so you can drop the emotional baggage they saddled you with and then you see for yourself what your life can really be!

Your right, no child should be told that crap.
I was depressed all my life, and as a child and young teen I used say the same things to myself; I didn’t ask to be born.
But then how could any parent ask the unborn.
Nature brings us into the world not really the parents.
Although some clearly should never be a parent.
If you hang around you may find yourself being in a relationship and being faced with a child on the way.
I wish us humans didn’t have to have any pain during life.
Paun makes us stronger if it doesn’t kill us first.

@caucajun32 and LanyK,
I wish I could get out of this deep hole of pain.
But it’s extremely difficult when I am constantly confronted by the people who triggered the hurt – my family.
When you are reminded that you don’t deserve to live, that you deserved to be abused, moving forward is an obscure option.
The effects of PTSD have made me withdraw from society and give up on someone who truly loved me.
The only way I can continue to function at work and earn a living is to numb myself and minimise interaction.
Isolation helps keep me sane.
Well, thank you for your replies. I am listening to what you have said.
