Anywhozies, it inspired some of my newer, longer poetry… Sorry if you don’t think it flows… neither do I! We can be thought twins!
Anyways, it’s just something I wrote last night really late…

They say: Come on,
Cut the crap,
Be glad,
Be happy you’re alive!

That’s where I stop and think…

What if the very thing that depresses us the most,
That makes us want to cut a little deeper,
Want to take another drag of that perfect smoke,
Swallow one more handful of those delicious pills,

What if, what makes us do all that is that
is in fact,
The very idea of being alive,
The very idea of having to wake up every morning,
And just be alive.

I’ve never claimed to be  a perfect child,
One with no problems,
No scars, not inside or out…

But I never claimed to  be brave either,
a fighter,
But maybe I am a dreamer,

And maybe every night,
I dream of living the fuck out of my life,

But sadly, that world,
The world where we all live in happiness,
is just a distant dream

Ummm… thanks for reading my crappy ass poem that runs itself off the tangent that it was already running on 🙂
