I remember cutting and then I remember getting better. It’s been almost a year since I’ve cut my arms or legs. I feel like….I have too. It hurts to think about it, but it sounds so, so soothing.
I lost all my knives so I had to cut with sharp rocks, objects, ect. it hurts alot worse but honestly I never understood cutting, I didnt feel better, could you explain?
I don’t know if this will help or not, but I’ve heard that squeezing ice cubes in the palm of your hand, until the hand begins to freeze and the stinging, burning sensation begins, is supposed to be a good substitute. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out. You can also wean yourself from the “ice treatment” easier than you can from cutting, according to friends.

Why do you cut? Does it make you feel better?
