a friend was talking about OD’ing. if it was possible to for me to somehow get good “clean” drugs (not cut with other crap) like ecstacy or heroin, i wonder if it’ll be best to go out on a high? or do we die during the down?? idk how that works but would be nice to experience bliss for once before going. like start with ecstacy, then move on to harder and higher feeling drugs until the final dose. that would be the optimal way to go. but i wouldn’t be able to repeatedly inject myself since i’m not a druggie.
also i wonder if we’d even know we were dying whilst high? also, would feeling that high make me want to live so i can feel that high again? questions i ponder about lol O_o
i’m not a druggie, haven’t tried anything. but for those who have, are you “aware” or “conscious” during a high? Like would you know that you just injected yourself with a fatal dose and that this high is going to be your end? also, is a “high” guaranteed? if i ever did drugs, i’d worry that I, of all ppl, would get a hellish experience instead of a high -_-
the only thing i did was weed…ONCE. literally every single person in the room felt chill and mellow. but me? i went from fine/normal/not depressed to suddenly feeling super fucking suicidal. i’ve never felt so depressed so fast. it was an insane feeling. so i never tried weed ever again.
i know this is just weed and not the harder stuff. but i wonder if i would also be one of the unlucky few to not even get a high if i tried them? i know different drugs do different things. and not saying i want to do drugs anytime soon or want to off myself rn- but like sometime in the future, hopefully at least 2 decades from now.

well, you’ll never get pure heroin in the modern world. I dove down that last time I was researching, and apparently that’s the one road they managed to close, refining. Everything sold today is dirty, apparently that’s some of the problem…. it’s a whole long thing. These particular facts are part of what talked me out of it, it’s the junk they cut it with that makes everything so unpleasant.
like all I wanted to do was to slow my heart rate and mind way way way down….. that’s what it’s FOR. and if you overdo it you die, and people just shrug “opiod epidemic”
Anyway I’ve been high quite a bit, most of the harder stuff I’ve been on has been on doctor’s orders though. Still pretty potent. Most of the time I’ve been high I’ve been awake. I’ve looked into ODing, looks like most of the time you’re awake up until the end.
People try to sedate themselves while ODing, but it doesn’t really work that way usually. You might start vomiting or having a heart attack in the process, good luck sleeping through that. Or you just have a panic attack because you’re you know, dying.
Out of all the ways out, I’ve probably read and written about this way more than any other. It’s rarely as quick as people think it will be. Like look at some high profile cases such as Jim Jones Cult, that whole business took about five hours, and they planned it.
well that totally blows.
1-JFC, they take away ALL the ways we can get out quickly and peacefully.
2-that and the fact that they won’t let us have the pure stuff. would SO many ppl be dying of drugs or opiods if they let us have the pure stuff? like just legalize everything. if everything is legalized, we wouldn’t have a dirty undermarket. just like alcohol during prohibition. that shit didn’t work, ppl made their own, sold their own, and ppl got sick/died bc a lot of it wasn’t made properly, with questionable ingredients or with unknown strengths. make it legal and whala, you can buy all that shit in the stores.
3- also, street drugs are illegal yet LEGAL drugs by big phar..ma kill MILLIONS of ppl a year.

Oh man, I think a lot of what makes old people sad is remembering what used to be legal. Like I’ve asked for qualudes before…… no luck ever.

They couldn’t come after nicotine, any more than they could come after caffeine. They’ve tried, it gets quieted down, but it has been tried….. the most they can do is tax us to death. But nicotine is all that is keeping the working class showing up for work…… who’s going to work auto shops and other retail level jobs without nicotine? The stress……. we need to blunt our senses

My issue with drugs is that it can be too easy to just turn to them to try to escape or like loosen up…
The few times I’d had weed, I felt like I was having a stroke initially before just laying back down and playing video games or like just chilling and feeling like I was seeing shit in slow mo, for example.
Alcohol loosens me up mostly, but makes me make stupid decisions with money, so I had to cut that off too.
Something like alcohol poisoning is freaky because it just can catch you and that’s it…
