PSHH wtf? is that your problem? I WISH that was mine. I texted my best friend that I liked him and he texted back that he never really like me more than a friend.

Text’s and emails are missing so much information we interpret what our mind is telling us the words meant.
Communications between people without hearing a voice and or seeing the body language or facial expressions leave much to the imagination.
Call the guy, listen to his voice, see if he sounds sincere.
A distant relationship can be a future relationship. I married my second wife after meeting her 20 years before and were friends back then, we met again and fell in love later in life.
There may be someone you are supposed to meet in Idaho, fate can be a strange and wonderful thing, there is always someone out there for each of us.
