I don’t have to commit suicide. Â I will shrivel up and die of loneliness. Â Every time I learn to deal with being alone, someone dangles a carrot in front of me, and as soon as I begin to trust they care, Â they snatch it away, and it’s worse than it was before. Â if only I could feel a man’s arms around me, nothing more necessarily. Â But the carrot has been ripped from my soul again. Â Even emptiness would be preferable to this pain. Â Will I ever learn that trust is toxic?

love is a crapshoot, if it worked the first time everyone would be happy or insane? you need to continue to try because when you really get it it’s wonderful for ever how long it last. 🙂
Rocketman is right. Love is a crapshoot. It works out well for some people and ends in misery for others. But you can’t give up on the possibility of finding love. That’s what I keep telling myself anyhow. When you allow yourself to be vulnerable and trust someone, its a gamble, but its a risk worth taking.

Extremely hard to get for those who can get it and nearly impossible for everyone else who tries to achieve it ……… I don’t know what else to say.

I hear you. I think we are all looking for love. But most people are too messed up to love.
Love gets corrupted by anger and lust and ego and pain. We need love, but love is dangerous. Take it slow and in small doses. Offer and recieve love just a little at a time. Try to be healthy and help others to be healthy.
