so if i’m depressed but at peace and slightly anxious right now… does that mean i can be in more than one place at a time? or that i can travel through time? i understand the quote and it’s a good one but these are emotions you can feel in the same moment. in that case i’m living the past, present, and future all in one moment. no wonder i’m going crazy.
What would Lao Tzu say to being anxious about the past? Depressed about the future? And at war with the present?
On a random side note. I admire Lao Tzu’s wisdom, Dawgs knowledge of such things, but most of all the turtle from kung fu panda. He spoke the truth “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today, ah today is a gift, that is why it is called the present.”
