Has anyone heard of using a metal ring when attemping a suspension hanging? I read that you can pad the rope at the front but I don’t quite get using the ring verses a knot. Anyone?

I think I figured it out – you just use the ring instead a a knot, which is what I thought. Pretty much like my dog’s slip leash.

I never thought about a metal ring, I guess that could work well. Easier to do than a knot aswell if you never went to scouts! lol
