I suck at blogs, posts, and twitter. But I definitely have the feelings of angst as many of those who’ve shared. Is this site really helpful or not? ~patiently waiting!!!
I shouldn’t have said angst… I meant anger, hostility, rage, confusion, …. feelings of self, in which no one can understand but me… yet others can absolutely relate to…
Hasn’t grown on me yet! lol It’s got me wondering what other sites are out there with more features. @clever.. You’ve probly been out there more than me.. Can you suggest any other sites?
This site may be simple, but it’s that trait that makes it good. If this site had features such as private messaging, friend lists, etc., it would be just another social networking site for people to form cliques in.
The design of the website is completely open: everyone can see your posts, everyone can see your comments, you can’t talk behind people’s backs with pm’s, and you can’t mute or ignore anyone. It forces open discussion, and dissuades exclusion.
Besides that, the color scheme is lovely. If you’ve ever looked at any of the other “suicide forums” out there, you may have noticed that they’re usually pink and filled with bright colors and flowers and other such effeminacies that are, I suppose, meant to aid the despondent.

You should perhaps be more discerning about your chosen basis for life or death decisions. Maybe.
Might not be the best idea to bet your life on getting help from a bunch of people in despair, who hate the world and can’t help themselves.
The website itself isn’t really all that “good,” technically speaking. It’s just a wordpress guest blog lacking some useful features.
