At some point I thought about summiting Mt Everest as a final act of defiance and adventure before freezing to be awoken in another time period. Life is hell but if there’s no other after this then I would gladly preserve my body to see another day. Once you get past the bite, the cold is a welcoming death dealer.
I think I would prefer the cold, the cold is numbing after a certain extent of time and you can no longer feel pain as your nerves begin to die of frostbite. I suppose it could be used as a metaphor for how I’d like to actually die, I would like to numb myself from my pain while simultaneously debilitating myself with self destruction.
