I spend all day with belt tied around my neck. Desensitizing myself. Tightening just enough to feel rush of blood to the head. Preparing myself to make my death comfortable.

Suicide is always horrid, no exception.
It’s your own choice to make. But it’s doubtful that any amount of ‘desensitization’ would make it less horrible.
That extra pressure in the head will never be “comfortable”.Think of a water balloon getting too much pressure. Now realize that your skull is not a rubbery container. That buildup of blood is going to be tremendous!
The Belt, Individual Equipment, Nylon, LC-2 as issued to US forces and a matter of other militaries is a 450mm wide Web belt used as a prominent component of the ALICE load bearing system. It would also be preferable in the case of low suspension hanging. I just tried it now and…confirmed, it does the job.
I’d still prefer a 5.56mm round to the head, but it’s good to have alternatives.
I think the OP is using his belt as a tourniquet, and not to hang from it. In which case is much more painful because the pressure builds faster that way.
Preparing to make death comfortable.
I don’t remember ever experiencing death so I don’t know if it’s uncomfortable or what would make it comfortable. Boy, that’s just a (pardon the pun) shot in the dark. That’s like, I’m sitting on this ice cube to make sliding down a glacier comfortable.
I mean process of dying (strangulation), not the death.

I would never hang or choke myself to death. I imagine it to be a truly painful way to die.
I wanted to shoot myself or find a way to die faster with no great suffering. The less time it took me to do it the better.
What concerns me about hanging is that it’s too easy for something to go wrong… and I might wind up alive and paralyzed. If paralysis wasn’t a big risk…
It could be painful, but at least it’s one of the most lethal method. Sadly, I don’t have access to guns
