I feel like pretty people don’t get suicidal or depressed. Or at least they don’t as easily. I hate the world. I hate chance. I hate being ugly, and being alive. My friends are starting to care less, and therapy doesn’t help at all.
Anyone and eveyone can be susceptible to depression and suicidal ideations.
Pain is universal. We all feel it regardless of our “definitions”.
I hate the world too, but I do not think of anyone as “ugly”. I think the word ugly and beautiful are just bullshit words we use to give someone worth or devalue another.
We are who we are. There is no one like us and we each are unique and one of a kind.
If your friends could care less then maybe its time to find more worthy friends who actually care. If therapy is not working then find a new method. But remember therapy and friendships require effort on your part as well to work.
I don’t consider myself pretty or ugly. I really don’t know but, one thing I am certain of is “pretty people” get just as depressed as anyone else we are all human. It may seem like we’re fine but, the simple truth is someone will only tell you what they want you to know. That being said don’t assume someone is happy just because there’s a smile on their face ugly or not.
I have a few friends that I consider pretty very, very pretty and she has just as bad of depression as I do. Maybe even worse. She has had boyfriends and people that love her but, she gets sad every now and then. Although as a living being this is natural to feel sad or mad at times.
I’m far from perfect or sane. I smoke weed, drink and chug bottles of zzzquil the point I’m trying to make is that we are not perfect. I’m fact just earlier today I downed a bottle of zzzquil. Don’t beat yourself up over things that don’t matter. I should probably take my own advice haha
I don’t know – “pretty” people don’t always have it so good. When I was in school we had a New Year’s party at a local hotel and shortly after things got started one of the most gorgeous and happy cheerleaders pried open the elevator doors on the 30th floor and jumped. We hadn’t even started celebrating yet so I know she wasn’t drunk or high. It’s always been a mystery.
“Pretty people” who get depression will stop being pretty. Besides i wouldn’t care too much about “pretty people”. Most of them are superficial anyways (Ohh, stfu about prejudices). That’s why there is a difference between “pretty” and “natural beauty”.
Trust me…pretty people don’t suffer less. They are pressured more. They have just as low self-esteem, because they think they need to be perfect, which is impossible, unless your extremely edited. Pretty people actually get cheated on more. Hot celebrities get cheated on ALL the time! I’m not saying someone who isn’t as pretty feels any less pain, though. It depends on the person and their problems. BUT, you aren’t ugly! My reference to pretty was more of saying society’s ideal person. Everybody has different preferences on what they like. Some guys like big girls, flat chested girls, guys, or even animals. Girls like different things too! Some girls like scrawny guys, nerds, big guys, or guys with flaws. I honestly find nerdy guys with flaws a very big turn on. I don’t like that ideal guy look, and not all guys like that ideal girl look.

It’s sorta hard to make new friends when you’re depressed.
damn those pretty people
True I understand that, but maybe its best to shed the ones who do not care or simply keep the ones you do have at a distance.
ugly people suffer much more, life’s unfair
They do get depressed.
plus, pretty people’s lives are just easier. They pretty much all get married faster. Have an easier time being liked. A better self esteem…
sure, less pretty people can have that stuff too, but it’s harder.
