When “whether the end or not…” becomes more appealing than continuing “this,” well… what’s left to discuss? You either wait a while and try to do whatever is left of what you want, or you don’t.
Who knows, maybe life is just a habit for some of us. Maybe we’re addicted to consciousness, and aren’t quite ready to roll the dice or flip the coin… just like an addict, addicted to anything, may indeed be suffering, but doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize their supply of whatever it is they crave.
Meanwhile… some of us apparently have a lot to think about.
I see SP as a way for people to try and deal with their thoughts and possibly rationalize whichever decision they come to. Most people don’t go through sudden enlightenment about how they perceive life or death when they are in a deep dark corner debating if suicide is the right choice.
Why does there need to be a post on SP that provides “a new perspective” about life or death?
Where does “perspective” come from? Individuals and varied frames of reference.
There are Many different perspectives about both life and death. I’ve personally expressed quite a few of them myself.
But life is life, and death is death, whatever those things may be. After a while, you’ll realize that altering your perspective on either, will not change the reality of what those things actually are. That’s when your own true perspective manifests. And i can understand how it can feel… disappointing, or perhaps anticlimactic, to spend all that time searching for answers, and then realize they cannot be found. They can only be created. And only as far as your own circumstances and capabilities and resources are able to take you.
Life isn’t only what YOU make it, it’s what we all make it, from what was here when we arrived, which was made by those before us, who made whatever they made, from what was made before them, and on and on, all the way back to the first sentient being who made the first conscious decision about anything, whatever that was, however long ago.
Quantum Causality is “why” things are the ways they are. All of the reasons contributed to everything that ever was or will be. You’re here, now, to experience it in whatever way you can, contribute, if you can, as you will, or are able, with the understanding that others came before us, as we will come before others. Those who come after us, will have the same requirement to make whatever they can of what we’ve left for them.
Do you want to try to help them or not? It may not matter to you, but it will matter to at least some of them.
I am fascinated by much of the thoughts of others expressed on this site. A lot of what I read really makes me think differently sometimes.
Unfortunately all of us only have our own personal perspectives to go on, but having the ability to take a glimpse from the perspective of others through their words here can really make you think twice. Or maybe even three times further lol……
I find it can be therapeutic to talk with people on here about how your feeling. There’s a sense that at least your not alone. And the anonymity of it is a good thing because most you can tell your story without fear of someone you know or knows you bringing it up or whatever. It a perspective. I believe. I chose To tell my story on here and i must say i had the most understanding positive feedback. People on here really understand what your goin through. And I’m sure not everyone on here truly wants to kill themselves. I know i dont. But i do feel like it a lot and need help with it . So i talk to who i can about it. Maybe im pathetic maybe im weak i dont know but at least im trying .

Lol, ah, true.
Perhaps you should live a while longer and write that post yourself. Only you can decide your own life.
