I was shouting to my mom. All I said was that I dont wanna live anymore. That I don’t want this. I start to act like a freak I start to hurt me. I start to scream. I hurt my mom too. I’m insane. What should I do ?
In your last note, you wrote that you were depressed and had a tendency to get angry. A few days later, it looks like things are continuing in that direction. At seventeen, it might be a good idea to speak with a therapist, discuss how you’re feeling, and work out ways to move forward. The teenage years are already difficult enough and sometimes it takes a little help to get through things. It’s probably a good idea when things get rough to step back, go for a walk, and collect your thoughts. That will end the argument with your mom and prevent further hurt. When things calm down, maybe you two can have a calmer discussion about what’s been going on. Depression can be tough to deal with and has all sorts of side effects. It’s probably a good idea to reach out and get some help. The earlier you reach out, the sooner you can start tackling your challenges. Don’t give up. As you’ll see on this board, many have similar challenges.
