Hmm. I mostly have no joy in music at all anymore. It just does nothing for me. Maybe it’s my age/long term depression. I hope you recover your enjoyment in it soon, music is the greatest art form in my humble opinion.
I hate that! I’m a singer, I love to sing! I’ve gotten better over the years more talented, the only problem is, I’m older and wiser, I don’t believe in what I’m singing anymore, music has taking the back burner, unless I have a few shots 🙂 I love entertainers.
I sing in a choir. Some time ago, at times, when a song was starting to sound like it should, I would close my eyes and just enjoy the harmony, feeling it in every piece of my skin. I just don’t feel the harmony anymore.
Also I’ve stopped singing around when I’m in home, and listening to music just makes me feel worse. I haven’t played guitar in months.
Music used to be my everything. It made me feel good in the worse moments. But now it has become meaningless. It’s just noise.
ok I’m going to contradict myself, you like to sing and play guitar great! the trick is to sing or play what you really have a passion for, could be politics, cold be human rights, could be anything you believe in, try changing your repertoire, sing about your passion, then you will get that release your looking for, I can do that! it works. there’s nothing like a challenge to convey your feelings, take advantage of your mind frame, and entertain people with the truth in your heart.
