people with no arms, legs ,eyes are rarely seen happy. It maybe because they have other things like love and understanding of people around them and we have not.You are not alone and useless. believe me. Its just the chemicals in the brain. think about good things. I can understand its hard.
If your goal is happiness, you probably won’t ever attain it. That’s like trying to catch some helium gas with your bare hands. But how do you know that the people you see are happy? Because they look happyish and aren’t acting lethargic? Human beings make the best actors. That’s why Hollywood is full of them.
One major component that keeps us from our own happiness is comparing our lives with others. We all do it, it just is.
Something I’ve learned is, it all starts with how we feel about ourselves and then what we interpret others to be.
To be candid, others aren’t as happy as they appear. It’s Facebook. Just as we hide our depression, desire to die and misery from the world, some are better at appearing happy by distracting themselves with being busy or, having the time of their lives on vacation and ensuring they have the pictures to prove it. You, special one, should be proud you are genuine and can’t see the value in a facade. Facades aren’t necessarily bad either though.
There are truly happy people out there, but remember, what you see in the majority is not reality.
We display what we want others to see (which is a good thing, we should have our own secrets), it’s really just smoke and mirrors. Don’t be so hard on yourself and keep your head up.
Because you are not them. It’s ok to be sad, it’s ok to be depressed. It’s ok. Those feelings are not flaws or faults. They are a huge part of what makes us human.
I’m sorry you feel alone and useless. I do too.
