i didnt know what to title this so heres the song that im listening to right now.
its interesting how we all attempt to comfort each other when we all know how the other person feels. when someone wants to kill their self people say no, because its wrong, a sin, selfish, or simply “not worth it to end a beautiful life”, and thus try to prevent a suicide. but if you truly understood how they felt ten why force that person to live in misery?
now im not saying that everyone should go commit suicide but when a person is at their worst and wakes up every morning wishing that they didnt, why try to force them to be optimistic?
its a vicious cycle of feeling miserable and then encouraging others to stay alive when they too wish for nothing than death.

This is why I don’t really like trying to persuade someone to hold on; usually they’re not getting the help they need and they might carry on feeling that way for a while. You’ll find that people make more an effort to prevent suicide in younger people, with reason – they’re more likely to feel better eventually, to not have tried many cures yet, etc.
The hope is that the cycle will be cut at some point. The misery will end and the person will live again.
When people want me to stay alive, I usually see it as an expression of love. They don’t only want you to stay alive and they don’t want you to suffer… they want you to get better.
You can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometime, you just might find you get what you need.
