I’ve been finally realizing how old they are becoming. Their health and minds are slowly depleating. I remember growing up with them. Spending time with them. Helping them so much. Today everyone was in a hurry to see a movie and rushing them. They both dont walk fast anymore. And Grandpa has nerve damage in his right arm. So he is unable to move it. No one asked if they needed help, just rushing them. They get so confused easily on top of that. Me on the other hand I waited for them. I stood by them as they got ready to get up and moving. I helped them carry all of their drinks and popcorn. My hands were litterally full. I put their phones on vibrate for them. I handed them their stuff after they got situated. I love my Grandparents. And it shows a lot. I always hug them when we part ways and tell them I love them. I’m a great Grand-daughter.

I’m proud of you for being the one there for them and I’m sure they appreciate it too. But the rest of your family shouldn’t try to rush your grandparents, that’s rude.
That is great. I wish any of my grandparents lived to see me as an adult. Sadly they all drank and drugged themselves into early graves. In fact most of them were long dead at my age, which is pretty eye opening.
Awww.
This is very sweet of you.
Thank you guys. My grandparents are in their early 70’s. My family always seems to be in a rush. They are so impatient. I’m extremely patient, so waiting for my grandparents is no problem at all. Their clock is ticking a lot slower, so every minute counts. Lonelyroses, HDS, Cordless.
My mother is 73 and she calls me about three times a month crying about her life. It really sucks to be old, but old and full of regrets? I don’t even want to entertain that kind of hellish life.
That is scary.
