Try to hop on a train, and just go where ever it may take you, perhaps you will encounter some adventure. Make sure to bring pepper spray though = ).
Where ever you may go or find yourself, make sure you have some money with you. Not wise to travel with too much cash, so try to have a debit card and bank account. Be smart, be safe, and most of all try not to go alone.
Hopping a train is cool. I did that alot when I was younger. It’s really dangerous now-a-days. First, the trains are alot faster, and it’s easy to get fucked up. Most hobos don’t get killed, they get maimed. And that’s worse than death, in my opinion. If you think life sucks now, try it with one leg, or no legs! And that’s just for starters.
And Passion has a point. Have you thought this all the way through, Lonely Girl? The stats are not good. Most teens that run away end up either returning home (usually by the cops), or worse, they end up in the most despicable situations known (ie: forced into porn, drugs, or sold into slavery, etc). Also, you could get mugged, raped, and who knows what. And most of the time, it’s by other runaways, or homeless street people.
While I don’t advocate staying in a situation that’s causing you to suffer, I do suggest you have a well thought out plan! Doing something impulsive is usually never a good idea. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule.
Just be careful whatever you decide.
But before you do anything, check out edenpress.com. They are a publisher of books on the subject of disappearing (the adult equivalent of running away). They have tons of great ideas how a person can vanish and start over with a new life. It’s an alternative to suicide.
