I understand the ‘prison’ part, but Nature on this planet is beautiful, and if humans keep going on the way they are, they’ll destroy themselves. I hope the planet survives. Please don’t do anything that, in the end, might make you feel worse.
Consciousness is ugly. This planet would’ve been infinitely more beautiful if it had never yielded complex life at all. Just plants, protists, fungi, bacteria. Maybe some invertebrates.

Maybe people like us will be weaponized by the government one day. Just kill everything and scorch the earth.
Human society sucks. That’s for certain. The earth will survive us. It’s been through much worse than we could ever do to it.
