I have a terrible sleep cycle.
I can stay awake for 2 days or more, then I sleep for 13 hours or so, then it’s anybody’s guess when I’ll sleep again.
Tonight is one of those nights I’m awake in the middle of the night but I HAVE to log off soon and at least try to sleep because I have things scheduled for tomorrow morning… and I don’t want to go there looking like more of a zombie than I already do.
What I will probably do is lay here in the dark for a few hours while my brain remembers things that make me cry, and imagines a future that makes me cry. Rinse and repeat, until the alarm goes off around 7:30.
I sympathize. I wish I had normal sleep cycles too.
I have exactly the same problem as cordless. I lay in bed and I remember things and thinking about my future. And sometimes I cry. Lately I would be happy if I slept 3 hours continuously. I think trying to get tired with physical exercise might help.
I ended up getting no sleep, though I did lay down in a dark room and cry for hours, so here’s hoping that counts as “sleep” in some alternate universe out there.
I’m sorry, Cordless. I really hope the level of ‘better’ increases and the level of crying decreases. Hopefully, you also get some sleep. You certainly don’t deserve to have this going on. If there’s anything I can do, just say the word.
My day started at a Rest Stop just outside of Washibgton, DC. I just pulled into the South Carolina Welcome Center.
I also have insomnia unfortunately it takes a good chunk out of my sanity each night if you can’t find someone to talk to id recommend binge watching movies sorry I can’t give better advice I’m still trying to deal with this myself
I understand this completely I’m rewatching things for 6 or 7 time now I don’t know about you but it’s like depression sharpens its knife during day for a deeper cut during night
Spend time doing something that makes you tired. Like Exercise
after a certain amount of exercise your body will get tired and crave sleep.
Also reading is a good one too.

Just a little bit more than usual. I hope today I’ll get some more. Thank you for asking.

Lol no worries. I’ve watched so much TV I’m sick of it.
