“There will come a time when all of us are dead. All of us. There will come a time when there are no human beings remaining to remember that anyone ever existed or that our species ever did anything. There will be no one left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra, let alone you. Everything that we did and built and wrote and thought and discovered will be forgotten and all of this will have been for naught.” -John Green
Rocketman ( I love that man already and i’ve only been here a week ) mentions often about existence/non-existence and the fine line between the two. For me, I use this knowledge as a soother or antidote to the almost relentless emotional pain swirling around in me gulliver ( a slang term used by the character “Alex” in the book A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, and later a movie by the same title directed by Stanley Coobrick. Gulliver- head ) Hmm, it would have been easier just to have said head but there you have it 🙂
I like the idea that it all counts for nothing because that means it’s not so bad the fact my life turned to shit with spectacular fuck ups performed all over the show earlier in life, of which the effects can still be heard loudly reverberating to this day. Halle-fuckin-lujah !!! 😀 …no amount of tears or hail mary’s gonna make it go away….HOWEVER, i get a warm fuzzy feel in my tummy just at the very mention of ********…haha….then i get down and doing it with betty the nice nurse educator and i’m positively buzzing, albeit ( ironically ) ‘temporarily’ LOL.
Let me finish with another soothing quote-
EVERYTHING IS TEMPORARY !!!

Fascinating quote, actually.
